Beer Cans

"Beer Cans" found in a wooded marsh that had been a landfill. Left for more than forty years to rust. These vintage cans represent a transition in packaging. The aluminum tops were new technology and the body is the old rusty "tin can". Also, the old pop tops were removable. Removeable pop tops were outlawed in the early seventies.

‘Found in Nature’ is a series of beautiful compositions that tell compelling stories about beach-trash. Barry collects previously discarded junk along the coastal areas of New York Harbor then curates and orders the objects by color, type and/or theme.
