Work in Progress - Request for Help

The Outreach Department of my studio has requested that I make a plea to my fans and followers. I need more plastic straws to finish this sculpture. I am hoping you could collect these items from the streets, sidewalks and beaches where you live. You will be doing a double good deed. First, you'll be cleaning your local environment and doubly you'll be helping this artist finish his work. Go out for a walk and go collecting!

Please send what you collect to:

Barry Rosenthal Studio

26 Beaver Street #8

New York, New York 10004

Please send only found straws, nothing store bought. Leave the dirt on them, no cleaning necessary!

Thank you,

Barry

My Mission - As an artist, to inspire the building of a more sustainable future. As an entrepreneur, to show and sell my work. As an advocate, to create awareness of marine plastic pollution. As a witness to show proof. As a public speaker, to add to the discourse about plastics in our environment. As a creative collaborator, to partner with institutions and companies taking a stand. And as an educator, to guide students in a multi-discipline approach to rethinking plastic packaging.

I gratefully acknowledge the editorial staff at National Geographic for making this moment possible. Now on the newsstands all around the country, The September 2019 issue featuring my work in “Planet or Plastic”.
